WEBINAR RECORDING

Speaker: Mia Dong, Scientific Project Manager at Brain+

Talk: Brain+ is a Danish Health Tech company, founded in 2012 that provides digital technologies for improving the quality of life and independence for those suffering from brain injuries, mental disparities, mild cognitive decline, dementia and the like. It started to reform the 'computerised cognitive training' market, developing a theorised and academic backed, mobile, and tablet app. Brain+ works hand-in-hand with different universities and hospitals to scientifically validate its digital therapeutics products.

Brain+ works on gamifying and validating a one-stop digital solution called 'AD Detect & Prevent' that is sensitive, effective, easily accessible and scalable. The solution integrates two breakthrough innovations: a sensitive presymtomatic AD detection method that allows identifying individuals with an elevated risk of developing AD, and a customised risk reduction programme to reduce this risk by combining computerised cognitive training and lifestyle intervention. Preliminary results in the clinical trials reveal the promising potential of this digital solution.
